Fons Sapientiae (Seat of Wisdom) Award

The Fons Sapientiae Award is given for meritorious contributions by living persons or organizations for notable writing, editing, publishing, illustrating, promoting the purposes and goals of professional library organizations, or extraordinary service in allied fields.  The award bears an honorary lifetime membership in the chapter and is given without regard to the recipients' religion, gender, or nationality.  The recipients do not need to be members of a professional library organization.  The award is usually presented at the luncheon during the Spring Conference.
